WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – A two-vehicle collision last Saturday, June 29, in Ypsilanti Township sent two Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies to the hospital, reports ClickOnDetroit.
The WCSO said the accident happened at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Prospect Street, on June 29.
Preliminary details indicate the two deputies were en route to a call when their patrol car was struck by another vehicle at the intersection.
First responders had both deputies transported to an area hospital.
While photos taken at the scene show one of the vehicles overturned on its side, the WCSO shared on their department Facebook page that the injuries sustained were not serious.
No information regarding potential charges or citations has been disclosed.
