Dean Michel earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Oakland University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2017. During his time at the undergraduate level, he interned for the National Labor Relations Board, where he began to hone his legal skills.
Dean then went on to graduate from Wayne State University Law School in 2020, where he was a member of the moot court program and The Journal of Law in Society. As part of moot court, Dean served on the executive board and represented Wayne Law at both regional and national competitions. During his time as a law student, Dean interned for the Honorable Judge Bernard Friedman. Dean is currently a resident of Macomb, MI where he resides with his wife, Cassady.
