OAKLAND COUNTY, MI – Authorities were called to a collision Wednesday morning that closed up to three lanes on Interstate 75 near Hazel Park, according to TTWN Detroit.

The accident happened on the northbound highway at Exit 60 to John Road and East 9 Mile Road. It was first reported by TTWN at 6:25 a.m.

Little information has been made available, but the three right northbound lanes were closed for over a hour, suggesting a more involved emergency response.

At 6:50 a.m., officials were able to trace stop-and-go traffic back to McNichols Road (Exit 57).

By 7:45 a.m., crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were announced reopened to traffic.

No major injuries or hospitalizations have been reported in connection with the incident.
